Facilities at our venue
The Memorial Hall has two halls and a committee room, and the halls can be hired on their own or together.
Main hall
Capacity:
150 people
Pricing: £15.00 per hour
The larger of the hall's two halls, with a full stage, stage extension, stage lighting and a speaker system, and a kitchen area off it.
It takes performances, parties, fairs, exercise classes and large community events, and has its own separate entrance and access to the shared toilets.
Front hall
Capacity:
35 people
Pricing: £7.00 per hour
The smaller of the hall's two halls, with its own separate entrance and access to the shared toilets.
It suits classes, meetings, children's parties and smaller community groups, and can be hired together with the main hall when more room is needed.
Main hall + Front hall
Capacity:
185 people
Pricing: £18.00 per hour
Both halls hired together, at a lower combined rate than booking each of them separately.
This is the option for events that need the stage and a second room alongside it - a performance with refreshments served next door, a fair across both spaces, or a celebration that wants somewhere quieter to retreat to.
Committee room
Capacity:
10 people
Pricing: £4.00 per hour
A small room for committee meetings, interviews and one-to-one sessions.
It is the hall's quietest space and can run at the same time as an event in either of the halls.
